Recently our team have upgraded Muller Martini ‘Turn and Distribute’ machine for a UK customer
- Existing controls equipment was obsolete
- Customer was finding it increasingly difficult to support
What we did:
- Site Survey – Design Engineer on site to detail machine Functionality & Operation
- Supply of necessary components for PLC & I/O upgrade from B&R 2005 to B&R X20 series
- Upgraded with new 10.4″ HMI graphical user interface – replacing existing obsolete text display HMI
- Software Engineering – intuitive operator controls, improved alarms & messaging
- Existing Lenze drives remain on the CAN network – drives maybe upgraded later in a phased process
- System test prior to shipment and site implementation
- Updated electrical schematics
- Installation and commissioning
